The Transport Driver operate a tractor with a tanker trailer (11,000 gallon capacity) to pick up products at the supply point (e.g. refinery, pipeline terminal, storage facility) and deliver it to area facilities. Drivers are Regional Drivers that are out overnight 2-3 days per week. The driver will make 2-4 daily pick-ups and deliveries while driving an average of 350-500 miles per day and working up to 14 hours per day.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Drive assigned Tractor/trailer (tanker) to pick up propane and deliver to area facilities

+ Perform required daily vehicle inspections

+ Safely and efficiently transfer product between transport and bulk storage

+ Maintain DOT compliance

+ Provide excellent customer service

+ Adhere to Safety principles

+ Adhere to all policies and procedures

+ Excellent/professional communication skills

**Required Experience:**

+ Must hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement and be able to driver a tractor with manual transmission.

+ A minimum of 3 recent years Class A CDL driving experience with a minimum of 200,000 verifiable miles

+ Able to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)

+ No accountable/responsible accidents in the previous 3 years

+ No more than one (1) Moving Violation in the previous 2 years


+ Stay out/ sleep in sleeper cab for 2-3 nights a week, and up to 4.

+ A Shift- Mon to Fri- Typically starts the work week on a Monday and conducts 34-hour reset on Friday or Saturday

+ B Shift- Wed to Sun- Shift starts at Noon Daily. Typically starts the work week on a Wednesday and conducts 34 hour resets on Monday or Tuesday.

**Company Driver Compensation:**

+ Paid Bi- weekly

+ $17.75 per hour

+ Mileage: .50 per mile

+ Lay-over pay: $25

+ Out of Area Pay (over 750 miles): $50

+ Annual Average: $67,300

+ B Shift- Receive $55 flat fee for both Sat & Sun runs in addition to normal mileage and hourly pay.

**Bonus Opportunities:**

+ Sign on bonus: $6,000

+ Performance bonus: Based on performance (Paid twice per year)

+ Referral Bonus: $1,500-$2,000 (1/2 paid at 90 days and balance paid at 6 months)

**Owner/ Operator Compensation:**

+ 65% of load

+ $1.25 per mile

+ Out of Area Pay (over 750 miles): $50
