The Clinical Process Coordinator will :


  • Conduct clinical process and pathway evaluation across Centerstone service lines. This evaluation will be hands-on, and the evaluator will be performing qualitative and quantitative analysis, quality monitoring, job shadowing, and may need to work with secret shoppers.

  • Provide in-person and remote trainings related to clinical process and/or pathway evaluation, clinical process and/or pathway development, clinical process and/or pathway implementation to staff with a variety of different skill levels and positions with the organization.

  • Serve as fidelity monitor, project manager, trainer, and evaluator for clinical process and/or pathway related projects.

  • Travel up to 30% of FTE in order to serve the needs of Centerstone’s clinical organizations.

  • Disseminate best clinical and management practices through multiple media venues.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. On-the-ground training on clinical process and/or pathway projects & KPI projects in the state assigned.

  2. State liaison to clinical leadership teams.

  3. Developing & disseminating actionable communications for clinical teams related to key performance indicator & clinical projects in collaboration with the Office for Clinical leadership and local operational leadership.

  4. Recording & addressing needs, barriers, & opportunities.

  5. Shadowing high performing teams to identify and then communicate best practices to the team

  6. Documenting current clinical processes and/or pathways according to new Centerstone framework.

  7. Evaluating value-added care success of current clinical processes and/or pathways, including identifying high performers.

  8. Performing on-the-ground Qualitative analysis & quantitative analysis of care in all Centerstone regions.

  9. Evaluating implementation and success of clinical process and/or pathway pilots/implementations. (.5 FTE per state).

  10. Performing on-the-ground Qualitative analysis & quantitative analysis of clinical process and/or pathway related care.

  11. Project management of clinical process and/or pathway projects in the state assigned.

  12. Fidelity checklist monitoring of clinical process and/or pathway projects in the state assigned.

  13. Development & enhancement of clinical process and/or pathway products taking into consideration needs/preferences of clients, community members, front line staff, and management.

  14. Work with a large team of staff, including those who do not directly report to you, across a large geographic area on distinct projects related to improving clinical care.

  15. Oversee project management of several clinical and service excellence related projects simultaneously for a large not-for-profit organization serving a large geographic area.

  16. Create a positive, strengths-oriented work culture within and across teams working on clinical and service excellence project.

  17. Identify barriers related to project success early on in projects, brainstorming solutions with project personnel, and championing solutions with leadership and key stakeholders.

  18. Use analytics tools, qualitative and quantitative anaylsis to identify high performing teams and clinical processes and/or pathways.

  19.  Communicate best practices from those staff and teams across the organization.

  20. Work with the Director of Clinical Excellence and Centerstone leadership on tasks related to empowering staff, managers, and teams to implement Centerstone’s strategic goals related to Value Based Care.





Masters of Organizational Engineering, Social Work, Education, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Administration, Business Administration, or Nursing.

Desired Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in healthcare quality improvement, health IT project management, implementation science, and or program evaluation.

  • At least 1 years’ experience in creating project charters, project plans, and providing remote project management coaching with CAPM, PMP, Lean Sigma Greenbelt, or other project management certification or progress towards certification.

  • Experience in training staff in skillset development and/or in evidence based practice adoption.

  • Experience in management and/or direct social work with persons with mental illness and/or addiction in community, residential, or hospital settings.


  • Engaging & interactive training and staff development skills.

  • Skilled in TeamworkPM, Microsoft Project, Basecamp, or another project management software.

  • Very skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

  • Familiar with project management software & continuous quality improvement techniques.

  • Facilitation of small and large meetings and events, both in person and electronically.

  • Skilled in execution of interactive trainings.

  • Experience planning of small and large events related to healthcare improvement.

  • Excellent writing, editing, research, and keyboarding skills with rapid turn-around.

  • Able to engagingly communicate verbally to a wide variety of audiences.

  • Desired but not necessary: experience with graphic design and statistical software.
