We are seeking an individual to work as a Clinical Protocol Coordinator at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD

This is a long-term contract position which offers:

TASKS/SERVICES. The contractor shall:

1. Perform data abstraction and data entry on Biomedical protocols .

2. Review research-related protocol forms on Biomedical protocols.

3. Process, track and validate data accurately and on time, in accordance with data processing and entry instructions.

4. Perform data entry into C3D and LabMatrix for Biomedical protocols.

5. Perform protocol specific quality control and quality assurance tasks on Biomedical protocols.

6. Run data reports as need by the research team.

7. Communicate with outside institutions and other NIH departments/branches on Biomedical protocols regarding data issues.

8. Prepare, review and submit clinical data to monitoring agencies .

9. Respond to queries from CTEP, the drug company or their affiliates and the FDA for Biomedical protocols.

10. Manage patient protocol information, review protocol and incorporate protocol-specific guidelines into the review of clinical trial data on Biomedical protocols.

11. Identify project specific reports and work with staff on the development of these reports.

12. Develop and extract patient clinical data reports for publications and presentations .

13. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to federal regulations, Good Clinical Practice, Good Clinical Data Management Practices , as well as SOPs and Working Instructions.

REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:

1. Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or other related discipline. Four (4) years of specialized experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to a BA/BS degree.

2. Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical data management.

3. Strong communications skills, both oral and written.

4. Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
