The Baylor Scott and White Health Clinical Trials Data Analyst utilizes repositories to analyze data and provide research-related reports, feasibility and analysis for customers system-wide to enhance enrollment and decrease cost.  Works in-tandem with Clinical Trails Data Analyst II and reports to Research Data Manager.

 

WHAT IS EXPECTED

Assists in performing feasibility assessments for research related studies to enhance enrollment and facilitate in the extraction of electronic data

Utilizes Data Repositories (MIDAS, CPA, EPIC, etc.) to analyze data and design customized reports to support end user requests

Assists in the construction and design of accurate analysis utilizing templates, filters and text query language

Demonstrates effective communication while working with research end-users to assemble pertinent study criteria

Manages existing reports and provides support for maintenance of end-user needs

Notifies management of current progress by creating and managing status reports and databases

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Knowledge of data extraction methods

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Associates Degree
