Job Details

The Clinical Trials Database Coordinator, at the Clinical Research Administration Office in Temple’s Clinical Research Institute, will serve as the front end administrator of the OnCore Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and as a facilitator during university training sessions.


Responsibilities include: implementing and providing support and management of all components of the OnCore CTMS; managing administrative and financial account set-up; maintaining a system to track all users of the CTMS; creating clinical trial calendars; assisting with updating information related to contract commitments and budgetary matters; developing and maintaining guidance materials on the CTMS; handling the closeout process of clinical trials; and providing training to Principal Investigators and Clinical Research staff. In addition, the incumbent will create reports, as requested; and will develop relationships with key staff in relevant hospital departments and research administration offices to implement the Clinical Research Administration’s objectives and processes regarding OnCore. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related clinical research experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:
*Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite software programs.
*Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
*Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with a diverse constituent population. 
*Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
*Strong organization and prioritization skills, along with the ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks.
*Demonstrated ability to be task and detail oriented.
*Ability to travel to off-site locations for training sessions, as needed.

*Experience with On-Core CTMS strongly preferred.
