**Chemistry/CMC Assistant**


**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**



**This is a great opportunity to learn CMC and Clinical and work in pharmaceutical industry. The CMC Assistant position for Pharmaceutical Development / CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) group is a temporary support position, responsible for CMC document review, as well as clinical supplies shipment logistics and inventory maintenance. This position will also be responsible for organizing and archiving CMC-related GMP documents, including clinical supplies GMP and GCP documents.**



**JOB DESCRIPTION**



We are looking for an individual with science background and great organizational skills who can review and archive pharmaceutical development / CMC records, including clinical study supplies related documentation. This person will need to be able to multi-task and interact with different functional groups (e.g., PD, Regulatory, Clinical Ops, QA), to support various drug development studies and archive documents. This detail-oriented person will also monitor clinical supplies shipments, work with different databases, create trackers as needed, and run inventory reports. **_WILLING TO TEACH_** the CMC and Clinical parts of this role.



**MAJOR DUTIES OF POSITION:**




+ Review and help in preparation of drug development / CMC documents that support regulatory submissions.

+ Retrieve, organize, and archive GMP/GCP documents related to PD/ CMC studies and clinical study supplies

+ Shipment logistics and inventory maintenance, which include tracking clinical supplies shipments, updating databases, and running inventory reports.

+ Perform other CMC/PD and clinical supplies logistics support functions as needed



**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:**




+ Bachelors degree required, science related preferred

+ 1-3 years experience in pharmaceutical/ biotechnology/ life science industry or other manufacturing area, GMP/GCP background preferred

+ Some experience in use of documentation database and IRT systems (e.g., Veeva, Medidata, etc.)

+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel
