Were seeking a CNC Machine Operator (Laser Cut) to join TRUMPF, Inc., a high tech machining employer!! You owe it to yourself to consider this great opportunity!


Location: Farmington, CT!


Shift: 7a-3:30p - OT as needed


Competitive Pay!!


Summary:

Set up and operate complex CNC machines including performing initial production runs where programming, fixtures and methods are being developed. Must be familiar with basic inspection of sheet metal parts.


Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Set up and operate specified machining centers

Assist in debugging operating problems

Work from blueprints

Select tools, feed and speed for machining applications

Work and be familiar with measuring tools

Control quality of machined parts

Work independently with minimum supervision

Able to lift up to 70 lbs

Operate overhead crane

Maintain shop, tools and other equipment by performing 5S and TPM activities

Maintain high standards of quality by making sure that parts that are passed on to a subsequent work center is good.

Re-order own tools as needed


Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years CNC machining experience

High school graduate or equivalent
