Description Kelly Services is currently seeking a DIRECT HIRE **Color Matching Laboratory Technician** for an esteemed client located in **Atlanta, GA** . This technician will be responsible for providing customer support for requested color matching and color proofs along with National support and new business transition projects.

They will apply color theory and digital color principals using various lab equipment, Access database, SAP, Outlook, Excel and color software/hardware to yield proficient color matching and proofing to a defined daily output standard and digital/physical quality specifications to meet customer request.

**The ideal candidate will have:**

+ 4 - 6 years prior color matching in multiple ink systems
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Off Set Ink experience required
+ Experience working in a plant environment a plus

+ Create and reproduce high quality Color Match and proofs for all incoming requests for supporting geographical region.
+ Format and create customer presentations in accordance to established strict specification tolerances.
+ Performs standard color proofs to insure compliance to customer and internal specifications, uses various proofing equipment across multiple applications, color software/hardware, color data transmission and submits proof results.
+ Provide accurate formulae for both local and feeder sites in a digital shared file.
+ Provide accurate real time accounts of and reporting of color match data through designated software.
+ Use appropriate colorants, finished ink systems, additives, special effect metallic, pearlescent, optical brighteners, vehicles and extenders.
+ Use of various substrates for color matching and proofs.
+ Maintains lab and equipment in the highest standards for a clean working environment.
+ Performs calibration of all lab equipment according to frequency schedule.
+ Assign EMG codes for color matches through SAP.
+ Works with Lead and/or Manager to determine project priorities.
+ Adheres to all safety rules and regulations according to ISO/EHS.
+ Back fill responsibilities in the absence of location lead.

+ Associate Degree, technical trade school or minimum 4 years industry technical experience.
