Contact Center Customer Service Inbound I - CONSUMER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE-SOCIAL SUMMARY Under general supervision, interacts with consumers on various web platforms. Acts as a liaison across the Internet; participating in minute-by-minute online conversations by answering questions, offering solutions and mediating conversations on various social networking sites. Provides overflow support to Consumer Services Representatives by receiving phone calls, email, correspondence, and chat messages from consumers ranging from general product questions to quality assurance issues and responds to them in a professional and timely manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Engages in consumer contact through various social media sites e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other consumer communication platforms e.g. weblogs, chat, and text within prescribed department guidelines etc. . Supports the development of consumer satisfaction and loyalty by answering questions and addressing consumer issues in a timely manner. Maintains legal compliance in all consumer communications. Receives and processes communications from consumers; replies to communications in an efficient and timely manner as determined by company policy and department performance standards. Executes an automated system to print, collate, and mail consumer correspondence. Works with the onsite rebate staff and third party resources to expedite processing of consumer submissions for rebates, money back offers, coupons and promotional items. Participates in job related events and frequent training to maintain a high level of product and corporate knowledge regarding consumer issues, our products, corporate and community programs, tasting room activities, and public relations events. Stays current on leading industry issues that affect consumers social media trends, nutrition, ingredients labeling, and advertising requirements . As a part of continual product training, required to taste wine and other alcohol beverages. Continually works to develop and maintain product knowledge to effectively communicate with consumers and portray brand and product attributes and positioning as defined by marketing. Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness. Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelors degree; OR Associates degree plus 2 year of social community management, customer service, marketing, journalism, public relations, or corporate communications experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR 4 years of social community management, customer service, marketing, journalism, public relations, or corporate communications experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. The position requires availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary. Required to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Required to travel to wineries, vineyards and other locations for product training. Candidates for this position must have a valid drivers license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California drivers license or appropriate state driver s license within 30 days of hire. Required to see, taste, and smell wine and perform wine tastings as part of job functions. R
