Description Contract Associate Project Manager needed in Burr Ridge, IL

Length of Contract: 8 months (through end of year)

Pay: $35/hr - $45/hr

+ Work in tandem with PMO management to perform project management duties to support the completion of projects.
+ Increase customer value by providing the customer with a seamless interface across McGraw-Hill Higher Education.

1. **ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:** Describe the **top five to ten** essential accountabilities of this position that **account for 5% or more of time spent on an annual basis** or are critical to the successful performance of the job, **starting with the essential accountability that you perform most frequently.** Each statement should specify the purpose of the accountability, how it is accomplished, and the end result.

+ Coordinate weekly meetings
+ Track and report project status and results to clients and PMO management.
+ Ensure project tasks are completed according to established timelines.
+ Develop and manage project inbox, log internal and external needs, queue action items, and check-off completion.

1. **OTHER REQUIRED ACCOUNTABILITIES:** Describe any additional accountability not included under the essential accountabilities section, which are part of the job..

+ Utilize project schedule and tracking tools
+ Day-to-day task management of large number of team members and assets.
+ Manage simultaneously occurring tasks
+ Facilitate client meetings
+ Track priorities within projects

1. **DIMENSIONS:** Provide specific dollars and/or unit measures which indicate the position’s impact or effect on the business (think in terms of revenue or expense dollars, staff size, etc.).

+ Assist with project coordination for large enterprise accounts—over $1.5 mil for each account

1. **KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:** Describe the knowledge and skills needed for competent performance of the position. Specify why the knowledge or experience is required by referring to how it is used in performing the essential accountabilities.

+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ 1-2 years’ experience in related field
+ Possess excellent interpersonal skills and work with cross-functional teams.
+ Inspire teamwork and organizational competency.
+ Some knowledge of education industry
+ Ability to manage simultaneous projects
+ Superior organization skills
+ Ability to succeed in deadline-conscious, results-driven, high-performing, high-intensity environment
+ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both verbal and written)

+ Ability to manage internal and external customer expectations
