Kelly is seeking a Contract Compliance Specialist to work with our client, a large global non-profit organization, on a direct hire basis. The Contract Compliance Specialist will oversee and be a subject matter expert on the entire lifecycle of the organizations grants and contracts. This role works under the supervision of the Grants & Procurement Administrator in the Finance and Administration department.


Specifically, the Contract Compliance Specialist will:


+ Write contract letters and other communication and notices

+ Pull reports into Excel and understand the data for reporting

+ Use basic Excel formulas for spreadsheets to make data easy to read

+ Read and understand financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

+ Process invoices for multiple departments from multiple locations and organizations

+ Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to agreements

+ Develop, implement, and refine processes and procedures for contract and grant administration

+ Create grant and contract invoicing, utilizing appropriate coding

+ Track, collect, and manage data as required

+ File paperwork and other related documents connected to grants and or contracts

+ Support Program Managers in understanding and implementing the requirements of grants and contracts that fund their programs

+ Operate as the subject matter expert for all grants and contracts

+ Monitor program outcomes to assure contracts are on track to meet objectives

+ Assist with building and administering of agreements between partner organizations

+ Research and prepare grant applications to obtain new funding

+ Implement and maintain reporting procedures for all funders

+ Maintain positive contacts and relationships with funders and partner agencies

+ Consult with the Business Manager regarding contract compliance related issues and solutions


Qualifications:


+ 3+ years of related experience in contract/grant management

+ Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel

+ Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to government funding

+ Ability to understand and interpret government contracts

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Experience working with highly sensitive materials while protecting confidentiality

+ Strong analytical and research skills

+ Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse populations in a respectful and culturally responsive manner

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain poise under pressure
