**Job Description**


POSITION OVERVIEW

The Contract Recruiter is responsible for understanding their assigned business areas- workforce planning needs and developing talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire best-in-class talent. Recruitment activities include but are not limited to: sourcing, networking, data mining and social media.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Builds a candidate pipeline of the best talent across various functional areas and experience levels

- Sources active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals

- Sources passive candidates through networking, cold calling, social media and Internet research

- Utilizes social media to reach passive candidates using - forums, blogs, discussion sites - to help reach targeted passive prospects

- Manages all aspects of the full-cycle recruiting process for various roles and levels across the organization

- Meets with hiring manager to discuss upcoming needs and develops multi-faceted sourcing and recruitment strategies

- Delivers qualified candidates (short list) for open positions to the business/function partners in a timely fashion and provides relevant updates throughout the hiring process

- Provides relevant market data to hiring managers to help guide the candidate search and selection process

- Communicates status of selection process to applicants and provides them with a positive brand experience

- Becomes actively involved in industry associations and symposiums to further build relationships with potential talent

- Promotes employee referral program and drives usage across the organization

- Implements and supports diversity recruiting efforts


**Requirements**


REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor-s degree in Human Resources or related field

- 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience and understanding of HR policies and procedures; experience supporting manufacturing is preferred.

- 5+ years corporate business experience

- 3+ years- experience working in a retained executive search, boutique search firm and/or agency

- 3+ years- experience using social media as a recruiting tool

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and support clients at all levels across an organization

- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships

- Excellent PowerPoint, Word and Excel capability


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master-s Degree or MBA

- Knowledgeable in employment law and hiring practices including OFCCP requirements

- Experience working in a global organization

- Experience working with senior executives

- Knowledge of company systems (HR systems such as Workday and SilkRoad-Open Hire are a plus)
