Description **SC Demand Planning & S&OP Implementation Specialist – Rosell, GA**

Length of Contract: 8 months (through EOY)

Pay: $35/hr - $44/hr

**Summary of Position**

Supporting the development, implementation and ongoing continuous improvement of Demand Planning & S&OP processes, metrics, systems, organizational capability and structure, across all businesses globally but with primary focus on Latin America. This position will provide support to the ongoing implementation of our new demand planning template of process and tool. The position will primarily focus on supporting the implementation teams for Demand Planning by facilitating the change management requirements for the strategies, principles, processes and systems, while additionally evaluating & improving the demand components of the S&OP cycle (portfolio, demand, supply & integrated financial review) to ensure each is receiving the best inputs, making the best transformations and passing on the highest quality outputs. The incumbent must be able to engage with leaders from Business Leadership, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing to influence direction, ensure understanding & validate compliance with the Demand Planning & S&OP strategies & cycles. This role is currently planned to primarily support one region but may need to travel to other regions to support their ongoing efforts as well. Within a region, the role will facilitate at the country, cluster, sub-region, and region levels. In coordination with S&OP & Demand Management leaders in business units & countries, conduct Demand Planning assessments and provide ongoing direction on continuously improving performance. Position will centrally coordinate & faciliate the implementation of a selected demand planning system to be implemented across the the regions and businesses. Position will be assigned into the KC leader of the DP and/or S&OP program for a particular region for their ongoing daily work assignments but will report to the Central Logistics S&OP Team for purposes of assignment.

Ensure demand & S&OP management practices are in accordance with corporate ethics, financial instructions and internal control requirements and result in providing the requisite quality and reliability.

**Business Priorities:**


+ Implementing and maintaining demand planning organizations, processes, metrics & systems solutions that deliver to the businesses accurate and timely forecasts & plans which enable successful execution of business objectives.
+ Building Continuous Improvement methodologies to support the implementation of the new Demand Planning template.
+ Ensuring strong linkages & alignment between the SBP, ABP and Portfolio streams of Integrated Business Planning and the S&OP Cycle.
+ Ensuring the demand, portfolio & integrated reconciliation steps of the S&OP Cycle are contributing to the overall business success by reducing unpredicted variability and volatility leading to improved business performance.
+ Developing understanding, support & commitment to the demand planning process by senior leaders of key functions – GM, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain while ensuring local & regional governance in place.
+ Support Implementation & validation of the demand planning processes & S&OP Cycle at the country, cluster, sub-region and region levels ensuring both the technical and organizational capabilities & support are in place.
+ Implementing and maintaining demand planning solutions which are sustainable and capable of evolving to meet the ever changing customer and consumer changes in the market.
+ Build linkages between demand planning and all the functions providing inputs & receiving outputs from the process.
**Role Accountabilities:**


+ Support the implementation, improvement and sustainability of local & regional capabilities for Demand Planning, Product Portfolio Health, Revenue Growth & relevant S&OP processes. Capabilities to fit within global S&OP Template but tailored to meet local market needs.
+ Support implementation of selected demand planning technologies, tools and data in support of the local and regional demand management teams and IT which meet the needs of each business unit while ensuring continuity, excellence in service, and sustainability. Solution should ensure end to end integration while enabling users to focus on exception management and analytics.
+ Support implementation & analytics of S&OP & demand planning metrics which drive integrated business performance across all functions Ensure metrics tied to performance of each function and drives common objectives across the functions.
+ Support development, implementation and sustainment of a global demand planning family of practitioners with a continuous improvement capability.
+ Ensure the demand & S&OP management solutions fit well within the S&OP Cycle and are driving operational improvements across all functions.
+ Maintain close, co-operative relationships with key customers including business leadership, Sales, Brand, S&OP, Planning, BU leadership, region SC leadership and BU/Region leaders.

+ Foster partnership relations with internal customers and suppliers.
+ Develop and maintain expertise, and provide advice, counsel and services, as requested, on demand & S&OP processes, technology, data, processes, organization and metrics, to the global community.
**Basic Qualifications**


+ Bachelors Degree in a business, supply chain, science, engineering or related discipline
+ 5 years experience in increasingly broader demand & supply chain planning & integration (S&OP) management roles with additional experience in supply chain execution such as Logistics and Manufacturing, Marketing and/or Sales roles with demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership.
+ Broad managerial experience in global implementations of processes, systems and metrics in either a direct leader or consultative role.
+ Strong experience developing working relationships with business teams and business support functions in a large matrix organization in delivering timely, accurate and feasible demand planning solutions.
+ Strong continuous improvement/lean training, experience and desire to support change management within the implementations.
+ Excellent strategic thinker capable of developing & driving new thought leadership across multiple organizations & units across the globe.
+ Strong skills and experience with diagnosing and resolving complex issues and identifying transformational opportunities.
+ Able to manage with ambiguity and autonomy.
+ Experience within Demand and Supply Planning for the Supply Chain, Procurement, SC execution, and or business support team leadership roles.
+ Ability to work in large complex global organizations and at multiple levels to influence the source to shelf culture of Global Supply Chain.
+ LAO specialist – must have fluency of speech, listening comprehension, reading and writing in Spanish and English. Portuguese basic speech and listening comprehension.
+ Ability to travel both within assigned region and globally up to 70%.
