Description Temporary Training & Learning Development Manager needed in Pittsford, NY

Job Purpose: Plan, develop, and conduct technical product training programs for Value Added Resellers and System Users both locally and regionally across the U.S.

Length of Contract: 6 months

Pay: $22/hr **Additional responsibilities include:**


+ Facilitate instructor led training for various certification courses in Rochester, NY
+ Travel for Regional training events and Customer specific training throughout U.S.
+ Revise/Update existing training material for 3 different instructional tracks •Manage web based exam content
+ Participate in departmental courseware development
+ Evaluate effectiveness of teaching
+ Participate in Quality initiatives
+ Prepare for training classes
+ Quality of Training measured by Course Evaluation results
+ Development of industry specific knowledge and applications
+ Progression of teaching advanced courses
+ Time Management
+ Design & Development of Courseware
**Job Requirements:**


+ Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Comfort with using and explaining technology
+ Comfort with public speaking
+ Knowledge of the principles of instructional design
+ Ability to teach and manage classroom size of 8 – 20 students
+ Seasoned Microsoft Windows (XP, 2005/2008 Server, 7), Microsoft Office user
+ Network Knowledge
+ Experience with Digital Video products
+ Experience in access control product
+ OnGuard Certified
Preferred Qualifications


+ Working knowledge of VMWare deployed solutions
+ Knowledge of effective communication methods to deliver course materials
+ Able to travel and conduct week long training sessions once every month
+ Excellent writing skills
+ Proficient at critical thinking
+ Customer service Oriented
