Controls Software Engineer

Up to 57.50 an hour

Position Summary:


Engineer work on this position will develop the control software for fuel cell vehicle. It required the engineer to develop the control algorithm based on MATLAB/SIMULINK platform, test and validate the control model in bench or vehicle.


Key Responsibilities:


* Develop and implement electronic controls as part of a PPT, VPI, or CPS development or integration project.

* Supported responsibilities can include algorithm or component design, calibration tuning, software design, verification testing, or validation testing across a component or systems.

* Follow controls feature development processes and work flows for normal work items.

* Mentors less experienced engineers.

* Demonstrates intermediate skills in two or more areas listed in the Functional/Technical Skills section.

* Applies basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices to assigned tasks to develop and support activities in the area of electronics. This may include one or more of the following:

-o Developing the electronics specifications

-o Designing electronic systems and components

-o Analyzing and simulating electronic capabilities

-o Implementing and generating software

-o Verifying and validating controls, hardware, or software

-o Tuning controls

-o Releasing controls, hardware, or software

-o Troubleshooting controls, hardware, or software issues

-o Servicing and maintaining controls, hardware, or software

-o Managing life-cycle obsolescence


Position Requirements:


* BS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineer or automotive engineering required

* 2-4 years experience in Automotive control develop ,including engine control, transmission control or HEV/EV control

* Model-based control development experience

* MATLAB/SIMULINK/STATEFLOW model development experience

* AutoSar experience preferred
