Description Our customer is one of the leading electrical vehicle companies in the world and they currently have multiple openings for Controls Technicians. This is a great way to get your foot in the door with an amazing company. These positions are starting off as 6-9 month contract assignments with the possibility of going longer or even full time. Typical schedule will be 4 day work weeks, working 12 hour shifts.

**Overview**


+ Assist experience Zone leader (Manufacturing Engineer) to execute specified tasks on a process or a machine inside a zone.
+ Monitor manufacturing and assembly process yield, availability and cycle time performance metrics. Data driven analysis and issue prioritization.
+ Investigate throughput loss root cause and propose technical solutions
+ Specify and/or design and/or order componentry (mechanical/electrical hardware) to modify or improve existing manufacturing/assembly processes
+ Assemble and validate modification hardware
+ Execute targeted manufacturing and assembly process yield, availability and cycle time improvement actions during equipment downtime.
+ Monitor and analyze performance metrics to confirm improvements (before/after analysis)
+ Solution execution includes working on:

+ incoming part quality characterization from internal and external suppliers as well as part assembly capability

+ manufacturing/assembly process (pick & place, fastening, press/push/pull assembly, micro-resistance test/measurement, adhesive dispensing, Tests: pressure decay leak tests, Hipot isolation tests, electrical and functional tests)
+ process documentation: training on assembly work, machine troubleshooting and recovery from user interface
**Qualifications**


+ Experience in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Electrical Engineer capable to understand mechanical assembly processes
+ 3-5 years of experience
+ The ability to debug and recover PLC Driven machines using an Ignition Human Machine Interface (Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley RSLogix PLC)
