Description Kelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking a Core Tech III for one of our top clients in Houston, TX.

As a Core Tech III, you will be part of a team responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the production of sterile biological pharmaceutical products.
**Job Summary:**

The Core Tech III will be responsible for carrying out production processes in a GMP facility, with tasks including column packing, operation of large scale purification by ion exchange and size exclusion chromatography and TFF. Other duties may include conduction of cGMP training for new and current employees, reviewing cGMP records, and change control. Follow production records to ensure that product is manufactured in accordance with written protocols and procedures.


+ Participates in aseptic processing of clinical grade product, including cell culture, purification, formulation and filling activities according to approved production records and cGMPs.
+ Responsible for investigating and troubleshooting deviations and unexpected events.
+ Responsible for reviewing, writing, and executing production records.
+ Provides support in maintaining cleanroom environment below alert limits by following established cleaning practice.
+ Stocks cleanroom suites and support areas with released inventory.
+ Performs environmental monitoring as needed.
+ Monitors expiry of critical raw materials as needed. **Quality Responsibility**
Maintenance of quality systems and cGMP compliance for the
business by ensuring that all team members comply with processes, procedures and instructions for all activities in which the team participates.
Able to perform procedures according to written guidelines and recognize a deviation from accepted practice. **Physical Demands**
A majority of the work is done in cleanroom environment.
While working in the cleanroom, scrubs, hairnet, shoe covers, hood, gown, mask, boots and two pairs of gloves are required. Eyestrain and/or repetitive motion symptoms may occur due to use of the computer. Chemical hazards include but are not limited to cleaning solutions, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs). **Skills**
•Ability to read, understand and follow production schedule.
•Ability to read, understand and follow SOP’s.
•Ability to understand importance of compliance with cGMP’s.
•Ability to perform aseptic gowning on a daily basis.
•Good eye/hand coordination.
•Computer software skills including Microsoft Office and RenCS, organization skills, record keeping, time management, regular attendance
•Written and oral communication, team oriented, independent work skills, strong work ethic **Required:**
Bachelors Degree
Preferred:
Masters Degree
