Description Kelly Legal Managed Services is actively recruiting for a Temporary Corporate Paralegal in Deerfield, IL. This is a great 6-12 month temporary opportunity starting in the month April. We are therefore looking for Paralegals with a minimum of 5 years corporate in-house experience; preferably working alongside supply chain. As a member of the team, the hired Paralegal will be responsible for:


+ Working closely with the Paralegal Manager
+ Investigating facts with business contacts to gather information
+ Managing and organizing all incoming confidential documents
+ Preparing routine documents such as: administrative filings, corporate books and records, and court filings.
+ Tracking and reviewing responses from key business personnel
+ Working to identify any potential conflicts among business groups
+ Tracking the processing and approval of justification forms and confidentiality agreements and work to obtain the appropriate approvals
+ Working to ensure all required deadlines for all such agreements are met
+ Identifying appropriate templates and preparing initial agreement drafts
+ Managing tickler system and follow up communications to business personnel
+ Assisting in the organization of records received in response to due diligence requests, discovery requests, and in preparation of filings.
+ Maintaining and advising on policies and procedures related to: document retention, denied parties lists, updates on substantive policy manuals, HIPPA, Export Compliance
+ Monitoring websites for privacy compliance.
+ Conducting legal research and assisting in the preparation of legal documents (such as: articles of incorporation, bylaws, resolutions, minutes, subsidiary stock certificates, etc.)
+ Getting acclimated in the use of corporate databases
+ Providing information to domestic and international business units, and tax department and other corporate functions.
You must have a Bachelors Degree and Paralegal certificate or four or more specialty paralegal courses and at least 5 years of paralegal experience. Candidates must also have the ability to create action plans and successfully execute procedures and processes to support senior paralegals and attorneys. Having a general understanding of a legal environment and the available resources will be key. This position will also require the hired Paralegal to work closely with others within and outside of the organization and to gather information from diverse groups. Additional skills needed:


+ Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
+ Ability to successfully work well in a team collaborative environment
+ Must have basic knowledge of word processing programs
+ Impeccable communication skills (both written and verbal)
+ Solid research and analytical skills
+ Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
+ Software Skills: MS Office 365, iManage, Onit for CDA/NDA and PDF
+ Experience with Box.com desired, but not required
