+ Shift: This is for a 24/7/365 call center environment. Must be available to work one of the following shifts: 4am - 12:30pm, 12pm - 8:30pm, 8pm - 4:30 am

**Whats a typical day as** **a Crisis Management Call Center Representative** **? Youll be:**


+ Manages incoming texts and chats from individuals with needs ranging from emotional support to crisis intervention

+ Obtains demographic and contact information from individuals where possible and as appropriate

+ Performs safety screenings for individuals reaching out for assistance and responds as indicated, providing emotional support and/or crisis intervention

+ Provides resources and linkage with providers when possible

+ Consults with managers on when indicated; and handles referrals for specialty care

+ Documents each interaction as required by policy and SOP.

+ May also respond to telephone and written inquiries from clients, providers and in-house departments

+ Provides follow up as described by policy and SOP.

+ Works with team and program leadership to respond to all contacts within standards outlined by performance guarantees


Qualifications:


+ Requires HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years customer service experience in healthcare related setting and medical terminology training; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.


Preferred Qualifications:


+ Bachelor's strongly preferred

+ Master's degree a plus

+ Mental health, substance abuse, and or crisis line assessments experience strongly preferred

+ Experience working on a text/chat platform completing assessments preferred

+ De-escalation skills

+ Motivational interviewing or similar skills

+ Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

+ Problem-solving skills
