**We are seeking a Customer Care Representative for a national healthcare insurance company located in Fort Worth. Great opportunity to help others!**



**Title:** Customer Care Representative



**Location:** Fort Worth (76104)



**Type:** Contract possible extension



**Hours:** M-F 9am-6pm



**Pay:** $16 hr.



**Job Description:** Accept incoming calls and route the people to the right person and also schedule patients who call inbound. Make outbound calls to patients we have never reached before to engage them.



**Job Responsibilities:**






+ Respond to customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility and claims.

+ Analyze problems and provides information/solutions.

+ Operate a PC/image station to obtain and extract information; documents information, activities and changes in the database.

+ Document inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis.

+ Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.

+ Research and analyze data to address operational challenges and customer service issues.

+ Provides external and internal customers with requested information.

+ Under immediate supervision, receives and places follow-up telephone calls / e-mails to answer customer questions that are routine in nature.

+ Requires limited knowledge of company services, products, insurance benefits, provider contracts and claims. Seeks, understands and responds to the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.



**Job Requirements:**




+ HS diploma or equivalent

+ 1 year of previous experience in an automated customer service environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

+ Healthcare experience preferred

+ Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

+ Testing required (must complete testing to be considered)
