Kelly Services is currently hiring for Customer Care Representatives for one of our top Healthcare Insurance clients in Virginia Beach, VA 23464.



The **Customer Service/Membership Representative** responds to customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility and claims.



**The position requires working from home due to COVID-19 and then reporting to the job site in Virginia Beach, 23464 at a later date. Seeking individuals who are self-starters and can work independently with minimal direct supervision.**



**Pay Rate:** $16.00 per hour



Associate will need to have one year experience in Customer Service including excellent written and verbal communication. They would need to be good at solving problems for the customer over the phone. A passion for serving others while being empathetic and the desire to solve the members problem on the first point of contact. Must have a strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility for your team and our members. Ability to work from home with internet access and a quiet work space. Experience and comfort with digital tools and learning new software programs.



**Working Hours:** Ability to work any 8 hour shift between the hours of 6:00am to 9:00pm



**Job Duties:**




+ Analyzes problems and provides information/solutions.

+ Operates a PC/image station to obtain and extract information; documents information, activities and changes in the database.

+ Thoroughly documents inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis. Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.

+ Researches and analyzes data to address operational challenges and customer service issues. Provides external and internal customers with requested information.

+ Under immediate supervision, receives and places follow-up telephone calls / e-mails to answer customer questions that are routine in nature.

+ Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting.

+ Requires limited knowledge of company services, products, insurance benefits, provider contracts and claims.

+ Seeks, understands and responds to the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.

+ Required to meet department goals.





**Minimum Qualifications:**




+ High school diploma or general education degree/GED required.

+ Must have at least 1 year of Call Center or Customer Service background.

+ Good communication and research skills.

+ Computer skills with the ability to work on dual monitors.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.

+ Associates are expected to have a suitable at-home workspace area free from distractions or background noise. Customer reserved the right to require associates to return to work in the office when conditions deem it safe to return.
