**Pay Range: $14.01-$15.69/hr**


**Job Summary:**

Connecting with these values, this position will provide high-quality customer service to current and future students. Participate in the coordination of organized data collection efforts, reporting, communication, and event coordination. The position will collaborate with leaders in the division to ensure consistent student-facing customer service by using sound judgment and problem-solving skills with limited oversight. Greet and serve students, schedule appointments for staff, manage the phone and email messages, provide basic college information, and assist the Student Affairs Division in meeting the service needs of a diverse student population. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethics as well as accuracy in judgment and communications (oral and written).


Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times and subscribe to the values of Lansing Community College and the Student Affairs Division.


**Essential Duties:**

Provide excellent customer service both on the phone and in person. Greet students, schedule student appointments, and answer department phone and email messages.

Provide information on and schedule academic and career advising appointments, answer telephone queries, and provide additional student assistance as needed.

Provide general clerical support for the CACP and StarZone including filing, copying, shredding, restocking supplies, and sorting mail.

Assist with department-sponsored events and activities including workshops, job fairs, and other campus events.

Work independently and cooperatively in a team-centered environment, performing a variety of duties and balancing multiple priorities on a continuing basis.

Perform other duties for special projects as assigned.


**Education/Experience:**


**Required**


+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Relevant work experience.

+ Demonstrated customer service experience

+ Excellent interpersonal skills


**Preferred**


+ Associates degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

+ One year of progressive experience

+ Windows Operating system skills.

+ A high level of professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and customer service experience.

+ Bilingual
