Kelly Services has a client looking for a Customer Service Representative that can maintain customer satisfaction by responding to all verbal and written communication from agents and/or insureds regarding life policies or annuities, thereby retaining policyholders and encouraging future business. Responsibility for daily work flow and prioritizing and at the same time handle all incoming calls from clients and agents. The position will be a communicator, problem solver and agent for change to provide continuous improvements.



**Responsibilities**




+ Answer general incoming calls from policyholders and agents.

+ Conduct research and analysis in order to ensure successful outcomes when complexities arise.

+ Deliver accurate and prompt resolution of issues and relay necessary information by both verbal and written communication.

+ Process loans by determining the correct amount available for loans and withdrawals. Verify proper signatures. Notification to the agent of insureds intent.

+ Process surrenders by notifying the agent of the insureds intent. Verify proper signatures and necessary forms. Request any necessary additional requirements. Follow up. Verify surrender amounts. Aid the agent in conservation efforts.

+ Process Electronic Fund Transfers. Make bank changes, do increases in premiums and decreases. Make pertinent changes on the computer. Verify the change to the agent.

+ Process address changes, beneficiary changes and ownership changes.

+ Troubleshoots issues to determine the best solutions and then implement a plan.

+ Develop broad understanding of products, services, policies, procedures, regulations and laws for effective service delivery.

+ Handle inbound/outbound calls from all applicable customers including but not limited to third party contacts, client contacts, third party vendors and internal team resources.

+ Support Life insurance and Annuity business and customers.



**Required Education and Experience**




+ High School Diploma or Equivalent. College degree preferred.

+ 8 + years experience providing customer service and transaction processing support in insurance or financial services.

+ Demonstrated and effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

+ Ability to work effectively with other internal teams and associates
