Customer Service - Brattleboro, VT

Our valued client located in Brattleboro, VT is the largest wholesale grocery supply company in the U.S., supplying more than 6,000 independent supermarkets, chain stores, military bases, and institutions with over 150,000 different products. They are currently seeking multiple customer service representatives to join their growing team. These roles represent an opportunity to possibly be temp to perm for the right individual.

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing a high level of service through telephone and email channels. Customer service inquiries would include orders, customer service resolution, and follow-up to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.

These roles will have in-office training for a two week period, and then switch to home office, and a company laptop and phone will be issued.

These roles are first shift and the schedule can vary, but all candidates will need to work 1 weekend day. (most likely scheduled is 9am - 5:30pm, Tues - Sat). Hours will be discussed with each candidate during their interview. The pay rate is $14/hr, and requirements are below:


Handling customer interactions via phone, e-mail and mail.

Process requests for order entry and product questions from customers.

Ensuring accurate order entry and timely feedback to customer inquiries.

Responsible for researching and resolving complaints, product inquiries or ordering to ensure customer retention and satisfaction


Ability to read and interpret manuals, documents and memos, Able to communicate with customers and co-workers

Ability to calculate figures and to apply common sense problem solving, Able to work with others and independently in order to complete tasks as directed by the management staff.

Ability to effectively manage work hours and demonstrate strong organizational skills.

Excel - basic to intermediate level required.
