The Customer Service Representative provides a solution based service to our valued customers. A successful individual will be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with professionalism and efficiency. This position requires a highly motivated team player with high energy who is willing to go above and beyond while displaying a positive, optimistic and upbeat outlook.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Process customer requests by fax, telephone, mail, or email. o Provide product information and technical resources.

o Perform order entry accurately with a sense of urgency. o Notify customer of backorder or potential delay in shipment.

o Review orders and check for accuracy. o Liaison for the sales department, logistics department, and the customer.

o Interface with co-workers and customers in reference to customer issues. o Ask for help and ask to help when necessary.

o Research customer inquiries and respond to appropriate parties in a timely manner. o Answer phone in a professional manner.

o Keep customers informed of order status. o Report problems to the Lead CSR.

o Keep work area neat and organized.

o Process credits and debits in a timely manner. o Perform tasks as assigned.

Company Responsibilities:

o Maintain confidentiality of all trade secrets and other company/customer information.

o Follow all company procedures and policies.

o Create solutions.

o Adhere to ADS guiding principles of honesty, professionalism, and core values.

Job Skills:

This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

o Verbal communication o Written communication

o PC/Computer o Typing/10-key

o Math o Data Entry

Educational Requirements:

o High School Diploma o

Preferred Experience:

Call Center Customer Service o Windows XP and Microsoft Office

o Oracle o

Physical Requirements:

o The employee will be sitting for an extended period of time, so they must be able to sit for a continuous 8 hours o The employee will be typing, answering the phone, and using their hands in other ways throughout the day and must be have full use of their hands.

o The employee will be wearing a headset while on the phone, so they must be able to wear a headset for 8 hours continuously


A minimum of one year Customer Service Experience.
