Customer Service Representative

Kelly Services is now hiring for a Customer Service representative for a leading manufacturer of metal roofing and metal siding, in Nashville Tennessee area!
Position: Customer Service Representative
Pay is $15 hour
Hours: 7:30-4:30 with a one hour break
Interviews will be onsite.
Job Description:
This position assists customers with purchase selection, assists contractors and retail customers in determining needed materials for buildings, prepares job cost estimates and enters work orders in computer.
Some of the responsibilities of the Service Representative position are:
Receives and accurately processes orders for contractors, retail customers, and distributors.
Willing to learn how to manufacture trim. (not constant, only when needed)
Willing to learn how to pull orders from stock for customer orders. Including forklift operation
Makes sales to retail customers, contractors, distributors, and industries; collects monies and maintains cash drawer
Willing to be trained and learn out compile take-offs on buildings for all customers that need help with procedures and material lists for pole buildings, mini storages, residential roofs & commercial standing seam roofs.
Works with Service Center Manager in receiving and investigates customer complaints, problems or questions and otherwise assists customers by offering insight into what materials are used for a particular project or application.
Processes credit/debit memos.
Some of the requirements of the Service Representative position are:
Job responsibilities are:
70% customer interaction, working with computer for tracking, and handling customers through the buying process
10-15% working with sheer machine to trim metal for customer orders
10-15% forklift (As needed)
Education/Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic construction knowledge and experience.
Knowledge and experience working with computers, MS Office Suite preferred and Adobe Acrobat software.
One year of general office experience preferred.
Must have strong customer facing / presentation skills.
Solid math and computational skills for giving customers quotes
Forklift is not required but they will train. #TJP2020
