Kelly Services is currently recruiting for a Call Center / Customer Service Representative I for our client, a leading healthcare company based out of Woodland Hills, CA to start on May 3rd, 2021.

**Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:**

The main function of a call center/customer service specialist is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. A typical customer service specialist is responsible for determining the clients issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. Customer service agents may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both.

**Job Responsibilities:**

Resolve customers service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills. Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments. Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.


Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software.


High school diploma or GED required.

**Pay Rate:**

$16.78 per hour starting pay (candidate will be given a bilingual assessment after training is complete.) Pay rate will be raised to $18.12 per hour after assessment is passed.

**Length of contract:**

12 month contract opportunity with a potential to extend

**Additional Information:**

Call Center experience- 6 months to 1 year

Bilingual Spanish preferred

Candidates will start in office for first week

Client will order equipment and issue to the workers during 1st week

Training continues at home after 1st week


Training is approximately 5 weeks. Training hours are 8:00 am-4:30 pm M-F.

Hours after training:

1 st shift schedule: 8am-12:30pm starting time

2 nd shift schedule: 1:30pm-6pm starting time

3 rd shift schedule: normally starts at 10pm

This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
