**Kelly Services** has an exciting and challenging contract opportunity for a **Customer Service Order Handling Specialist** to work onsite with a top client located in **Indianapolis, IN** .



Under the supervision of the manager, CSR is responsible for executing and managing the Order Receipt and Handling (ORH) process with client customers.



The CSR will be part of a team providing support on customer service-related activities that are not customer facing yet critical to customer satisfaction.



Candidate will be responsible for a group of customers and work to support them with their order needs handling routine and non- routine customer order activities. CSR's manage automated systems, with a high degree of accountability and follow up. Utilize the ERP system to place customer orders both accurately and timely. The CSR typically works with a very complex combination of order scenarios, such as multiple sourcing location, various modes of transport, and hundreds of products. Champions customer needs across all Dow functions. Realizes and anticipates how events and trends are likely to affect the customers future needs and satisfaction.



**Hours:** 8am-5pm (Mon-Fri)



**Length of contract:** 12+ months or longer



**Payrate:** - DOE



**Key Responsibilities:**




+ Accountable for executing activities and transactions that will accelerate order flow, enhance CSR capability, and meet customer needs.

+ Order entry and management of return orders.

+ Order entry and management of commercial sample order requests.

+ Order entry and management of customer invoice adjustments.

+ Accountable for monitoring and maintaining data necessary for flow of electronic ordering.

+ Provide backup CSR responsibilities during periods of peak order volume or during CSR absence.

+ Achieve mastery of the system and processes.

+ Apply critical thinking skills to assess a situation, determine resolution, and apply a process timely and accurately as per policy and procedures.



**Requirements:**




+ HS Diploma (Bachelor's degree is preferred.)



**Preferred Qualifications:**




+ At least 2 years relevant experience (handling inbound/outbound calls, handling customer inquiries and entry of orders)

+ Proficiency with Microsoft applications- intermediate to advanced skills level with the MSO suite

+ Proficiency using SAP and other technology and systems.

+ Work process aptitude is critical to success.

+ Resourceful and excellent problem-solving skills

+ Ability to multi-task with critical thinking skills

+ Sense of urgency

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Able to prioritize tasks and understand how to work with competing priorities

+ Knowledge of science or agriculture a plus
