**DESCRIPTION**


The Loading/Picking Supervisor is responsible for providing an overall memorable and exceptional customer experience in the areas of answering phones, customer checkout and on-site assistance of material pick-up at the Manassas location.


**OVERVIEW**


Supervises: Reception, Cashiers and Customer Service Representatives


**ONGOING RESPONSIBILITIES**


**Reception:**


Ensures that the receptionist position is staffed and that all reception duties are conducted efficiently and consistently.


Provides coverage for breaks and lunch so that walk-in guests are greeted and phones are answered without interruption.


Assigns additional tasks as appropriate.


**Cashiers:**


Responsible for the scheduling of all cashier staff.


Ensures that customer transactions are conducted in a welcoming, efficient and accurate manner.


Oversees communication from Cashiers to Customer Service Reps to provide seamless transition to material pick up in the yard/warehouse.


Assist dispatch with printing delivery tickets and pulling labels.


Reconcile drawer and work with accounting on various tasks.


Scan picking notes, invoices, and credits from back cashier transactions.


**Customer Service Representatives:**


Oversees and schedules all customer service representatives.


Monitors overall appearance, uniform and attitude of each CSR to provide best customer experience possible.


Ensures that the podium process runs smoothly and always strives for 100 customer coverage.


Stays in on-going communication with CSR team monitoring response times and assigning follow-up tasks.


Collaborates with and supports the Receiving Supervisor with moving material into the warehouse, as well as warehouse/yard organization and cleanliness.


**QUALIFICATIONS**


Minimum 3 years of customer service experience required.


Minimum 2 years of leadership and team-building experience required.


Home building materials industry experience a plus.

Ability to provide coaching and/or disciplinary action directly with staff.

Ability to work independently; can be relied to complete assignments and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.


**WORKING CONDITIONS**


Building environment exposure to machinery, noise and other adverse conditions.


Ability to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 80 lbs.
