**Job Description**


Our client is the largest seafood company in the United States, based in Ballard WA and is looking for Customer Service Support Clerk to join the family.


Temp - Hire

Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm


Summary:

This role supports our Domestic Sales Team with various administrative tasks, from order placement, inventory checks to invoicing. Managing strict timelines and shipping requirements requires exceptional organizational skills, and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Account management requires strong work ethic, initiative, consistent follow-through, and impeccable attendance. Clear and concise communication with external customers, and internal departments.


Tasks and responsibilities include:

Essential Functions:

1. Clear and concise internal and external communication regarding pricing, ship dates, inventory, and weight requirements.

2. Timely response to customer inquiries and orders via email, phone, or fax.

3. Discuss products offered, properly set customer expectations, and de-escalate to resolve customer concerns.

4. Complete supporting paperwork and data entry with accuracy.

5. Timeliness of invoicing, and transferred to the customer.

6. First contact resolution for customers, anticipating issues and mitigating margin for error.

7. Multi-tasking with attention to detail, and working with a sense of urgency.

8. Prioritize tasks and meeting crucial deadlines to meet shipping and cut-off dates.

9. Motivated to take initiative and creatively problem solve for a greater customer experience.

10. Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office 365.

11. Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
