As a Financial Aid Customer Support Representative, you are expected to handle student inquires, provide guidance and assistance to students with required needs, either while on campus or by telephone.

**Hourly Rate:** $15.00

**Hybrid Work Schedule: Working 2-3 days in office.**

Monday: 2pm-7pm, Tuesday: 1pm-5pm, Wednesday: 1pm-5pm, Thursday: 1pm-5pm, Friday: 3pm-5pm

**On-Site Training:**

4wks Monday-10am-2pm, Tuesday-10am-3pm, Wednesday 10am-3pm Thursday- 11am-2pm

**Assignment Length:** July 2022 June 2023

**Duties include but not limited to**

+ Work on campus to meet and greet students 2-3 days a week

+ When working virtual operate as a call center support representative

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced call center environment

+ Handle student inquiries as main point of contact for application and intake processing

+ Provide guidance and assistance to students needs

+ Will be assisting students, pulling up account information to provide direction as needed

+ Works directly with students concerning all financial aid questions, concerns, policies and procedures

+ Data entry of funding on students accounts toward payment of educational expenses

+ Routes all documentation and student files to appropriate staff

+ Enter, review and file al PERC hold slips for prevention of student drops

+ Coordinate creation of student files based on documentation received

+ Maintains proper student filing system for current and inactive academic years

+ Responsible for document scanning and linking

+ Document tracking and generating missing information letters

+ Completes external student requests including but not limited to DSS forms, housing forms, etc.

+ Review and distribute all incoming mail

+ Involved with creation of forms and or correspondence sent to students.

+ Must have the ability to problem solve, exercises sound judgment, assist staff with projects as assigned


+ Associate Degree required or equivalent experience

*(min. 1 year in a comprehensive financial aid office or 2 years related experience in an educational institution)

+ Ability to coordinate and follow through with institutional policies and procedures

+ Ability to multi-task

+ Excellent interpersonal skills

+ Effective verbal communication skills

+ Analytical skills and the ability to work independently

+ Internal/External Customer Service Skills

+ Ability to multitask and prioritize

+ Attention to detail

+ Reliability and dependability

+ Basic computer skills

+ Financial aid background a plus
