Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Cycle Counter Coordinator in the South Charlotte area. This positions pays between $16-$20/hour and is a long term opportunity. This is also a 2nd shift opportunity with working hours of 3:30pm-12:00am (can possibly flex).

Position Description

Initiates, sets and maintains system parameters within SAP to achieve proper count levels and inventory accuracy. Leads Cycle Count Team on day to day processes. Counts, investigates, records and makes system adjustments as required of inventory on a daily basis in order to maintain the integrity of the financial investment in inventory

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- This role is responsible for ensuring the team is actively engaged to meet daily schedule

- Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.

- Use basic problem solving skills to ensure accurate completion

- Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Supervisor/Manager

- Observe, maintain, coordinate both training and execution of standard work

- Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Supervisor/Manager

- Participate as an active member of the team as a working lead

- Follow work instructions, processes and procedures as defined by the company-s Quality System

- Complete required documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements

- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate operation functions

- Provide reports on department KPI-s to Supervisor/Manager as required

- Access computer system data and reconcile multiple quantity discrepancies

- Assists in identifying inventory record errors and aids in correcting conditions causing errors

- Provide daily direction to Cycle Counters on daily tasks

- Re-Counts all inventory locations. Drive corrective actions of inventory errors using root cause analysis skills

- Reconciles actual versus recorded inventory counts and enters stock adjustments in SAP

- Investigates differences between system and actual count utilizing SAP tools, reasoning skills, etc.

- Updates SAP system with correct inventory count following conclusion of investigation

- Moves inventory to and from area where inventory is counted

- Assists in pulling inventory to be disposed of according to company policy

- Drive resolution and elimination of inventory errors within SAP on a daily basis

- Interacts with other business segments to correct Financial and Bill of Material errors

- Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Strong basic math skills - addition / subtraction

- Knowledge of SAP or ERP system

- MS Office experience including basic Excel and Email

- The role may require: lift up to 35 pounds, complete assisted lifts of 35-50 pounds, push or pull containers on a pallet jacks, repetitive bending and stooping, and may require occasional lifting overhead.

- Basic understanding of root cause analysis (5 whys)

- Must be willing and able to be trained and certified to drive fork lift / cherry picker

- Willing and able to meet the work schedule requirements of the job: must be willing and able to work overtime as needed with limited notice.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3 or 5 years of experience in regulated manufacturing / distribution environment or equivalent experience

- Inventory Management/Cycle Counting strongly preferred

- 1+ years of experience with `ABC- Methodology

- Data entry experience
