Description **Data Entry Clerk – Plano, TX**

Kelly Services is currently seeking a **Data Entry Clerk** for one of our top automotive clients in **Plano, TX** ! This is a long term contract position through Kelly Services. Apply now for consideration!

This candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

**Requirements:**


+ 1-4 years of relevant work experience is required
+ Must be proficient in MS Office
+ Must be familiar with BOX (similar to the cloud) and SharePoint
+ Candidate must be independent (there will be little oversight, find things to do to accomplish goal)
+ Ability to develop weekly status reports (Candidate will create reports listing issues/road blocks, next steps, and accomplishments to be given to Reports to Mgr.)
+ EXCELLENT Written and Verbal Communication Skills
+ Critical Thinking- (ability to identify a situation/problem and find a solution)
+ Collaborative Skills (working with others to obtain necessary information that isn't readily available)
**General Conversion from Paper Files to Electronic Files:**


+ Gather paper files from business groups
+ Scan documents to create electronic copies
+ Create folders and subfolders within Box and SharePoint for files
+ Organize and file electronic records into personnel folders in Box and SharePoint (new or pre-existing)
+ Validate record for appropriate association with correct personnel folder
+ Maintain regular status reporting to convey status to management team
**Files/Documents:**


+ Follow established naming conventions on all new files
+ Add metadata to all documents scanned
+ When employee terminates, move Active files to Terminated, Term-Vested, or Retiree file
+ If Term-Vested or Retired employee returns, new Active Personnel and Benefits files will need to be created
**Security Administration:**


+ Add/remove users to/from established HR Groups
+ Provide access to specific files
**Purging, Record Retention:**


+ As long as an employee is active, any files should remain as-is in Box and SharePoint.
+ When an employee terminates, any active files should be moved, renamed, metadata changed accordingly
+ Refer to Records Retention for retention periods for various types of files
+ At appropriate timing, run reports as needed to identify files for purging from Box and/or SharePoint
