**Kelly Services is actively recruiting for a Data Entry Supervisor OCM for a Direct Hire opportunity in Greater Schaumburg area in Northern Chicago, IL.**

TITLE: Data Entry Supervisor OCM

SUMMARY: Through delegation from the Laboratory Manager, and in a safe, legal, and ethical manner, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees the Sample reception and Data Entry Department, and other handling of samples, thus insuring the information entered is accurate and timely

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Communicate, monitor, and enforce laboratory safety and housekeeping practices.

Organize and prioritize warehouse and Data entry work.

Assist in monitoring and ordering inventory supplies for other departments.

Work with the Customer Care center and Key Account Managers to trouble shoot and solve issues with incoming samples, data discrepancies and issue with the report/invoice.

Assist in, or conduct, investigations of discrepancies to resolve problems with clients, and to inform management of required corrective action.

Maintain communication with clients and management regarding status of samples.

Communicate with management regarding routine needs of the Data Entry and Warehouse departments

Report to Laboratory management objective input on Data Entry Clerk and Warehouse Clerk's performance.

Assist in the training efforts of the company.

Maintain an awareness of the abilities and personality of each Clerk.

Participate and take an active role in the management meetings and Safety Committee.

To carry out the above responsibilities, and others which may be assigned, in a safe and ethical manner, and in a fashion which demonstrates support for the Company's Quality Policy, Business Ethics Policy, Vision and Strategy, and to exercise good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy in so doing.

Assist in monitoring, measuring, and assessing quality assurance practices and protocols for continual improvement.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees in their work group or department.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add their work hours on their timecard. Able to analyze numerical reports from related laboratory machinery. Ability to perform basic methodology calculations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear; and taste and smell. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to fully utilize a breathing apparatus when required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Due to the difficulty and working space requirements of this position, it is difficult if not impossible to make reasonable accommodations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and with explosive material and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of radiation.
