**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**




+ Reporting to a member of the NPD management team this person will work collaboratively to construct schedule & execute integrated project plans ensure that the necessary resources are applied and delivering to plan perform engineering development actives coordinate and participate in verification and validation testing analyze data and author reports.

+ This individual will support cross functional teams responsible for concept generation design and development and transfer to manufacturing of disposable and reusable medical devices. These cross functional teams will include personnel from various groups within the organization including external design and development partners suppliers and contract manufacturers.

+ Gap assess product requirements relative to ISO standards

+ Create, review, or review design control documents for design requirements to include documenting design inputs, outputs, verification and validation for selected products

+ Investigate and review previously approved design control documents for selected products

+ Review, comment, and approve related DFMEAs and risk analysis documents

+ Create presentation slides to summarize progress of remediation activities

+ Create pre-assessment slides to communicate document gaps for selected products

+ Explore and document findings for design control data from source PLM systems

+ Create and circulate engineering changes, as applicable

+ Contact internal SME personnel, as needed, to support product and DHF reviews for clarification or to verify accuracy of content in documents

+ Support subject matter experts in completing the remediation process for biological safety assessments, microbiology adoptions, cleaning validation adoptions, and packaging adoptions





**Qualifications:**




+ Strong planning and organizational skills

+ Excellent written verbal and presentation skills

+ Ability to recognize problems and take corrective measures

+ Ability to independently work with external technical professionals

+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Word PowerPoint Excel Project required

+ Basic understanding and experience with Solid Works a plus

+ Experience working with statistical software a plus.





**Education / Experience:**




+ BS in Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in new product development within a medical device company
