Opportunity for Management Growth! Kelly Services is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for the LaPorte Indiana Area for a well-established food manufacturing company. This position has management growth opportunity.
Position is day-s full time. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity. Pay rate range for this position would be $15 -$17 an hour based on experience.
Qualified candidates would have experience in the following
Quality Control Specialist:
- Become familiar with SQF code EDI 8. And the Co. Manual
- Compare level w/ level 3 requirements. Begin Build level 3.
- Go through notes from audits. (Improve, correct, revise, as advised)
- HAACP
- Internal Audits
- Documentation checklist
- Weekly plant walk through
- Monitor packaging room
- Monitor lab
o Samples retained
o Lot# Log Recorded
o Testing Recorded
- Trending / Graphs
o Pest Control
o Test Results
- Write work instructions
- Write job descriptions
- Quality training - Continual education, as well as new employee.
- Computer documentation of all of the above
- Proven and Prior work experience in the food manufacturing industry preferred.
