Our client, a CRO, is seeking a Director of Business Development to join their team in the Boston metro area. This is a fantastic opportunity with a growing client who plays a significant role in the industry from both the clinical development space as well as technology! If you are seeking a senior leadership role that will allow you to utilize your sales, strategy, and account development expertise to develop and guide the sales team this is the opportunity for you!

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Director of Business Development is responsible for uncovering and securing new business from potential customer companies within the small to midsized biopharma space in addition to securing RFPs and review RFP detail provided by prospective clients to ensure adequate and effective preparation of project proposals.

EDUCATION/SKILLS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing or related field of study and/or equivalent experience. 5 years of business development or sale experience including 3 + years sales experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry specifically. Having determination to close deals, see business through to fruition and resilience to keep prospecting are imperative.
