Kelly is seeking a Director of Operations to work for our client, a global non-profit social services organization, on a direct hire basis. The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day general business, programs, and facility operations of the organization.


Specifically, the Director of Operations will:


+ Provide supervision to 5-8 direct reports at the Director and Program Manager level

+ Direct activities in assigned programs to optimize operational efficiency

+ Develop and implement budgets for fiscally sound programs

+ Provide leadership and oversight to the day-to-day business and facility activities

+ Form collaborative relationships with community groups and other City or County departments for the efficient and effective delivery of services

+ Develop programs with partner agencies and groups to eliminate gaps in services and reduce duplication of services

+ Design new programs, as needed, and develop outcome measures for evaluation and funding source accountability

+ Liaise all legal, insurance, and property matters

+ Coordinate recommendations for repairs, remodeling, and replacement of facilities and equipment

+ Assist the Business Manager with the process of accumulating and preparing financial statements and other reporting procedures

+ Assist the Director with all matters relating to Finance

+ Maintain clear channels of communication via internal memos, emails, schedules and calendars, flyers, newsletters, and one-on-one discussions

+ Facilitate and lead annual strategic planning sessions

+ Lead Contract/Grant audits, best practices, applications, and compliance


Qualifications:


+ MBA, MSW, or Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, planning, management, and developing/administering budgets for non-profit programs

+ Minimum 5 years of experience supervising and managing a multifaceted professional staff

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in pre- and post-award support and budget analysis/reporting

+ A communication and management style that fosters team relationships and an interpersonal style that is service oriented and supportive of other departments

+ Ability to engage with diverse populations in a respectful and culturally responsive manner
