Kelly Scientific Resources has a Direct Hire opportunity as a Director of Quality with a client in Pontiac, MI

**Director of Quality:**

- Lead the development and implementation of quality/compliance strategies

- Manage 10+ staff members on the quality team

- Making sure operations adhere to quality assurance, cGMP, safety regulations, SOPs, FDA, and DEA compliance

- Prepare and submit data reports for review by the Facility Director.

- Lead inspections

- Audit activities and assures problems are investigated, resolved, and solutions are implemented.

- Strives for continuous improvement by analyzing new or alternative ways to improve compliance operations; incorporating staff and operator suggestions into analysis.

- Working with the Management Team in identifying and anticipating safety training needs, coaching, counseling, and training employees.

- Demonstrate ability to advance efficiencies and best laboratory practices to maximize the effectiveness of a Quality control environment focused on regulatory compliance.

- Capable of working in a production environment including standing, bending, walking, stooping, climbing in a processing environment, and lifting weight up to 35 pounds

- Responsible for ensuring all Quality unit and Production unit associates are properly trained and documented in their respective areas to perform their job duties.

**Director of Quality Requirements:**

- Bachelors or Masters degree in science related field

- Experience as a pharmacist in quality management in pharmaceuticals, ISO and cGMP related industry is a plus

- 5 years in a Managerial role

- Must have the ability to write and understand technical information/reports

- Experience in biotech/pharma/medical device/related industry

- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry able to work with active pharmaceutical ingredient powders and liquids.

- Experience with quality auditing

- ISO9001 is desired

- Willing to travel between facilities if required and understand that hours of operations may be extended and fluctuate when necessary.

**Additional Details:**

+ Work schedule is Monday thru Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility, as the Director of Quality may require time outside of those hours.
