**Document Control Clerk in Irving, TX**

**Essential Functions:** The Document Control Clerk supports the activities in the Document Control department by performing data entry; filing, archiving, copying, and retrieving documents.

**Location:** Irving, TX

**Schedule:** 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday

**Pay Rate:** $15.00/hr

**Start:** TBD - dependent on candidate’s availability


**Position Summary:** The Document Control Clerk supports the activities in the Document Control department by performing data entry; filing, archiving, copying, and retrieving documents.

**Responsibilities:**


+ Data entry and reporting using the ERP/MES Systems & Microsoft Office Products.
+ Files and retrieves documentation according to established methodology into and from Documentation Control Areas.
+ Copies documents and when required distributes documents to organizations within Mentor Corporation.
+ Assist Document Control department in the performance of duties including supporting department performance metrics. Participate in the investigation and resolution of documentation problems.
+ Participate in identification and retrieval of documentation in response to requests.
+ Preparation of basic trend analysis on identified key performance indicators.
+ Assist in software evaluations as requested. Performing basic file maintenance.
+ Suggest Process/Procedure and Improvements when appropriate
+ Support Internal and External Audits as required.
+ Support the Records Management (RM) Program as per PL553-005 & related RM documentation at Mentor Irving
+ Ensures the Quality Management System is maintained in a state of readiness to applicable regulations and directives such as 21CFR820, ISO13485, MDD, CMDR, TGA, ANVISA, MHLW and applicable regulatory requirements.
+ Other duties as assigned by Document Control management.
**Qualifications:**


+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
+ Minimum six months manufacturing experience. Word processing, spreadsheet design, database, and presentation software experience is required
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
+ Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
