We at Kelly are seeking a Referral Specialist for our Premier Client in Nashville, TN.

This is a Direct hire opportunity!


Schedule:

12 hour shifts starting at 6am/pm Rotating 2 week schedule.

o 36 hours week = Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday

o 48 hour week = Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday

1 On-call shift in this week

On-call shifts can be worked remote if meet IT and performance expectations

Training:

First 2 weeks are Monday Friday 8:30am 5pm


Pay:

$19.00 Base

+$1.50 shift differential (PM shifts)

+ $2.13 on the weekends



MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Effectively interacts with all referring partners and maintains accurate documentation of the screening process via data entry, following established referral intake procedures.

2. Effectively evaluates medical information provided by medical professionals, concurrently transcribing the provided information into the DCI electronic record.

3. Evaluates donation potential of patients referred, utilizing screening criteria provided by the AATB, FDA, CDC, and DCI partner processors.

4. Effectively communicate medical details and information obtained throughout the donation process.

5. Effectively verifies the family has been notified of the death, verifies the state of the family.

6. Works with internal and external partners to facilitate the donation process through coordination and communication of individual case information and logistics.

7. Responsible for routing medically eligible referrals to appropriate divisional department for follow up.

8. Per protocol, communicates any hospital development, Medical Examiner/Coroner and/or funeral home concerns or feedback to the appropriate divisional department.

9. Communicates logistics with key stakeholders such as funeral homes, medical examiners, external recovery partners and processors.

10. Participates in any needed training, performance measurement, process improvement, departmental QA/QC activities and special projects as directed.

11. Performs other related duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Required: A minimum of a two-year degree in a health-related field, nursing or paramedic/EMT certification or equivalent experience.


Experience: 1+ years in a health-care related position including use of medical terminology. Previous industry experience preferred.


Licenses/Certifications: CTBS (or ability to obtain within 2 years of date of hire) and/or other health related licensing preferred; LPN, CAN, CMA.


Computer Skills: Proficient knowledge of computers to include Microsoft Office, strong data entry and typing skills required.
