In the Downstream Manufacturing Associate role, you will have the exciting opportunity to perform hands-on purification operations for the production of viral vector products. The unique duties of this position consist of buffer preparation, in-process testing, operation and maintenance of tangential-flow filtration devices, column packing and chromatography, sterile filtration and final fill operations, sampling and storage of manufactured products, and the submission of samples for quality testing. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining GMP’s by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, safety guidelines, and good documentation practices. Overall, your exceptional ability to purify viral vectors in a GMP setting will yield product for human clinical trials.

**Your Experience and Qualifications:**


+ You hold a B.S. in the life sciences
+ You have at least 3 years of experience in downstream methods, such as tangential-flow filtration and column chromatography using multiple technologies, various filtration techniques and final fill/vialing
+ You possess substantial GMP experience and demonstrate good documentation practices
+ You have previous experience with AKTA or similar chromatography systems
+ You enjoy collaborating alongside a motivated team in order to achieve company goals
