Electrical / Automation Controls / Wiring Technician


First Shift position

This is a longer-term position starting as temp.

Pay for matching experience experience: $24 to $25/hr., DOE


The Technician will assist in the building, assembly, wiring and testing of electrical Control Panels.

- Follow the design requirements and project specifications through reading schematics and following design packages.

- This includes, layout and physical mounting of components to the back panel, wiring and labeling of all components, installation of control panel into enclosure, and testing to ensure proper operation.


Job Requirements:

Must be familiar with Industrial Controls and all phases of panel building including Fabrication, mounting, wiring, and installation.

- Must feel comfortable in operating power tools.

- Experience with VFDs, DC drives, PLCs, Relays, Motor Starters, Power Supplies and Transformers.

- Familiar with reading Schematics and understanding electrical circuits.

- Must be able to operate and read a multi meter.

- Experience with Underwriters Laboratory and UL508A standards is desired.
