Client in Semiconductors is currently hiring an Electrical Engineer to fill a post-retirement vacancy. This position is a Contract without an end date. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electrical/electronic engineering assemblies for next generation wafer process subsystems.



Key Responsibilities and Duties / Essential Functions:

Determines design approach and parameters.

Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluated results.

Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.

Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.

Confirms systems and components capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.

Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.

Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.

Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.

Create engineering documentation to support new and existing equipment.

Develop operational machinery designs from conceptual ideas.

Operate and test complex automated equipment.

Support worldwide capital equipment installations.

Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.



Job Requirements:

BS in Electrical Engineering required, MS in Electrical Engineering preferred.

3-5 years minimum of experience is required, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing equipment or capital equipment.

Experience with electrical schematic generation utilizing CAD systems Autocad and Solidworks.

Experience in machinery automation and 3 phase power (Hardware-oriented Engineer, not testing and Computer Simulation).

Experience in electronics troubleshooting and electronic testing design, collecting data and reporting results.

Power distribution, Robotics, Pneumatics, Architecture design, Machining, RF Network troubleshooting plus.

Project management skills including ability to work with outside vendors and working cross functionally with other engineering disciplines.
