**Electrical Engineering Technician - CONTRACT**


+ The electrical tech position is responsible for executing build activities as needed.

+ Will conduct all manufacturing department processes and assist the senior tech as needed.


+ As a tech, you will be responsible for and required to install sub systems such as powertrain and the high voltage battery, read electrical schematics, install wiring harnesses, understanding of Dbm meter, be capable of soldiering, have basic wiring skills, and be able to complete Electrical process defined by manufacturing.

+ Must be adept at working in a cross functional organization and be willing to support other areas of the build, based on production needs.

+ Capabilities should include demonstrating the ability to fulfill process related electrical builds in responsible, safe, and accurate manner per the Standard Operating Procedures.

+ This includes not only building vehicles according to specification, but testing and diagnosis of each vehicle within our facility and following up with quality and other manufacturing cells.

+ This role requires an equal level of technical/mechanical skills and people skills.

+ Lead team to complete scheduled work on the manufacturing floor.

+ Coordinate cross functional activities.

+ Escalate issues or decisions effectively to production manager.

+ Containment of issues as they arise while working with quality and engineering. Involved in hands-on execution of manufacturing operations.

+ Accountability for results.

+ Contribute toward authoring SOPs and job aids.

+ Support the implementation of Kanban, carting, safety, and 5S systems for the production environment.


+ Technical or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Automotive concentration preferred.


+ 3 years of progressive production experience in the Automotive related industry is required.

+ Mechanical aptitude relative to the understanding of 3D printing and manufacturing fabrication methods.

+ Proficiency in MS Office spreadsheet software preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for conflict resolution.

+ The ability to read, write, follow, and train others through complex instructions.
