Location: Santa Clara Valley, CA, USA

Description Kelly Services is currently seeking an **Electrical Validation Engineer** for a contract role in Santa Clara, CA.

As an **Electrical Validation Engineer** placed with Kelly Services your primary responsibility will be to measure interconnect performances to determine if the realized performance matches the required spec/ prediction made by simulations.

Additional Responsibilities and requirements Include:


+ World-class expertise in the testing and analysis of electrical interconnects.
+ MSEE or BSEE with 2-3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
+ Experience in EE validation is preferred.
+ Experience working in lab, perform the test and analyzing the results.
+ Experience working with High voltage and High current applications.
+ Ability to bring up test set ups and be able to work independently with limited guidance from the team.
+ Knowledge of power integrity measurements and power transmission over connectors and cable assemblies.
+ Experience interpreting electrical specifications and write detailed test plans that can be used internally and by vendors.
+ Proficient in analyzing test data and prepare clear concise reports for management review.
+ Lab instruments and measurements including Power supplies, Multimeters, Batteries, Power meters, Electronic load (e.g. Temperature rise, resistance, power dissipated etc.)
+ VNA/TDR/ENA (e.g. insertion loss, return loss, crosstalk, etc.)
+ Experience with soldering, crimping etc. is a plus
+ Candidate will also characterize and make appropriate adjustments for interconnect performance under environmental, mechanical and electrical stresses.
+ The candidate will work closely with manufacturers and quality teams in helping them bring up various test set ups to get reliable data.
Preferred Requirements:


+ Ability to write scripts (Python, MATLAB, etc.) to automate tests (measure resistance, temperature, etc.).
