Description Kelly Engineering Resources has an outstanding 6-9 month contract opportunity with a manufacturer of electro-mechanical medical devices. Due to growth, our client is hiring up to 3 individuals to work as Manufacturing Technicians.

Day Shift 8:00-5:00 PM

**Key** **Responsibilities** of the Manufacturing Technician:


+ Assembly, integration of mechanical, fluidic, electronic, optical, electro-mechanical systems and plastic and liquid mechanical systems.
+ Responsible for delivering manufacturing requirements against production or project schedules within a focused manufacturing operation.
+ Building, testing and troubleshooting for all assemblies, subassemblies and complete system
+ Document per GMP, SOP and FDA requirements
+ Read blueprints, schematics, work instructions, etc
+ Visually inspect and test components needed for assembly
+ Document any quality issues
+ Coordinate with other technicians daily in support of integration testing, manual instruction development and production process development. All to support a quality process and product.
+ Share knowledge and train co-workers and new employees.
+ Deliver manufacturing requirements and attainment of production schedule.
+ Participate in applicable departmental and interdepartmental training; maintain current and effective training to standard operating procedures, work instructions, and applicable changes affecting the Reagent Manufacturing.
+ Maintain cleanliness and integrity of manufacturing and storage areas.
+ Performs timely and accurate inventory cycle counts.
+ Performs timely and accurate inventory-based transactions in Oracle.
+ Maintain personal compliance and facilitate departmental compliance with the Quality System.
+ Stages material for production as needed.
+ Adhere to safety, disposal, and gowning requirements (gowning as required by area).
+ Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**


+ Associates degree in technical electronics/mechanical or scientific field or three years electromechanical or instrument assembly experience
+ Must be able to read blueprints, schematics/wiring diagrams and work instructions
+ Electronic assembly experience from schematic is required, component assembly a plus
+ Mechanical assembly experience is required, experience with fluidics/medical pumps is a plus
+ Use test equipment, hand tools

+ Previous medical device experience a plus
+ FDA/GMP experience a plus
+ Experience with ISO 13485 a plus
+ MS Word, Excel experience highly desired
+ Interpersonal skills: learn quickly and work independently and professionally with other coworkers
