Job Description: Assembler II -

Under general supervision, as part of the production team, performs electronic or electro-mechanical sub-assembly operations to build up and assemble electronic assembly units of moderate complexity. Products assembled to include any or all Healthcare medical simulation product line.

Duties Responsibilities: Reads, interprets, and works from production/assembly instructions, assembly drawings, part lists, and verbal instructions. Identifies and selects floor stock components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly units. Performs wiring and soldering of mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Maintains a safe and clean work area. Complies with company policies and guidelines pertaining to inventory control, quality, and safety. Performs all work in accordance with established quality and safety policies/standards. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of mechanical assembly experience. Related technical or vocational training or certification considered an asset. Familiarity with soldering techniques. Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions. Basic computer navigation and utilization skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Ability to think critically and reason to solve a problem. Effective communication skills. High attention to detail and self-motivation skills. Ability to utilize all assembly tool

Physical Demands and Abilities: Regularly required to stand or sit for long periods of time. Occasionally required to walk, reach, kneel, and crouch. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently life and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequently required to use hands to handle, finger, or feel objects such as tools and controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: o Close vision o Peripheral vision o Depth perception o Ability to adjust focus
