We are seeking a results-driven, versatile Engagement Manager with experience in data management & curation. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling our partners and clients to do more oncology focused clinical trials research.

  • The Engagement Manager will be responsible for all aspects of implementation, delivery, management of client work across the full range of data curation activities.
  • The Engagement Manager will be responsible for assuring excellent service and client satisfaction with solutions and deliverables through outstanding responsiveness and communication.
  • The Engagement Manager will understand all the client business objectives, and provide oversight of all data curation activities, directing the Operations Manager, IT support technician personnel, and HR recruiting associate.
  • The Engagement Manager will be responsible for achieving and maintaining the FTE recruitment targets established jointly by Vector Oncology and our client.
  • The Engagement Manager will oversee training, and evaluation of the Operations Manager, IT Support and Deployment Technician, and overall responsibility for direct or indirect supervision, training and evaluation of other Data Curation Staff.

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Project Management or a related area of study
  • 5+ years proven work experience in data related technology, Healthcare (Hospital, Medical Group Operations, Clinical Research Organization, Pharmaceutical) Customer, Client Service or Call Center Operations environment
  • Solid understanding of implementation process and various interdependencies between operations and technology  
  • P&L responsibility for the data curation line of business
  • Exceptional client management skills and experience
  • Monitor metrics while creating solutions for company growth
  • Must be well organized with a focus on meeting performance metrics and deadlines
  • Ability to manage and provide oversight to large data curation work teams
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, and training of new team hires
  • Working knowledge of clinical research process
  • Consultation skills to be able to consult to keep projects aligned with strategic goals
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Project experience)
  • Must have solid communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and background
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal skills and a must.
