**Engineering and Planning Coordinator/Associate**



**Kelly Services** is seeking a talented **Engineering and Planner Coordinator Associate** in New Albany, OH. This is a blended position, see below for details. The ideal candidate will have bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited university or college **or** an associates technical degree plus 3 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment. This is a 1-year contract role with possibility of extension.



**5% travel to New Albany, Columbus and Gahanna, OH. Monday - Friday, 8 hour days.**



**This is a blend of two positions. Requirements for each will determine eligibility and pay rate:**



Engineering and Planning Coordinator Associate: max pay rate $28.00 an hour DOE: **Bachelors degree** in a related field from an accredited university (or college **or** an Associates degree) **plus** **2 years** of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.


Engineering and Planning Coordinator: Max pay $32.00 an hour DOE: **Bachelors degree** in a related field from an accredited university or college (or an associates technical degree) **plus** **3 years** of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.



**In this role you will:**




+ Under close supervision, performs work activities and projects requiring technical

+ knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives.

+ Assist with providing input to annual budget, capital forecasts, five-year plan and improvement requisitions.

+ Assist in evaluating contracting methods, reviewing drawings and preparing basic cost estimates using established standards.

+ Assist in the preparation of technical reports and papers. Coordinator needed for regulatory filings, metric analytics, and project coordination.

+ A large part of this job will require tracking projects and structure locations on Transmission Lines and facilitating communication.



**Principal Accountabilities:**




+ Coordinate work activities of others within work group , team or those external to the company including contractors, vendors as required to resolve routine technical tasks and field work activities.

+ Perform varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques to solution of problems or analysis.

+ Participate in the planning and organization of outage/project work activities.

+ Make decisions and contribute to team decision making and consensus building.

+ Monitor labor relation activities; develop and maintain rapport to assure cooperation and productive working relationships with contractors.

+ Work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary.

+ Provide training and guidance to lower level employees as appropriate.

+ Pursue effective ways to protect and enhance the environment while providing reliable electricity at a competitive cost.
